 Today I offer an ode to the hand painted wallcovering of Gracie Studio and  de Gournay.  Both offer an exquisite product but at a pretty penny.  They tend to cost around $650 and up per panel -- truly a luxury.   De Gournay specializes in reproductions of historic prints -- particularly 18th century Chinoiserie and 19th century French designs.  Gracie is a New York based studio, estabilished in 1898 and still family run -- there are 20 talented artisans who make the hand painted magic happen.  Here are a few gorgeous examples...
