Art Night - an update!
Yesterday was a fabulous day -- walked into the office and was confronted with an explosion of newly hung art as the firm gears up for Art Night this Thursday. Our front windows are in the process of being painted with meandering line work integrated with an appropriate Paul Klee quote:
“A drawing is simply a line going for a walk. ”
It's great to have every room bursting at the seams with new work -- all for the benefit of Washington Project for the Arts. Even better, today at lunch curator Judy Sherman of J Fine Art took us all on a guided tour to share some of her favorite pieces. There's a nice spectrum of local work, well priced (from $75 - $4000). Can't wait for the big night - this Thursday! Look for me, intermittently holding a wine glass and a sign like this:
